2008 San Diego International Wine Competition
Judges & Judging:

The judges of the SDIWC include winemakers, wine writers, educators, wine trade professionals, and wine enthusiasts with experience and proven proficiency judging wine. Most are veterans of the SDIWC and other recognized competitions.

The Chief Judge will instruct the judges to pay attention to wines of perfect varietal character and component balance in order to give those traits as much consideration as those of dominant concentration and power.

Because strict controls for security and temperature are maintained during storage, setup and judging, each wine will be assessed equally and impartially.
